About

This Year

This year's charity ball is bringing a taste of the West Indies with our Caribbean Rum Punch night. The event is hosted at the Leicester Marriott hotel on 13th October 2012.

Why We Do It

Over the last few years CVS has established close ties with two British based charities supporting communities in Africa, Temwa working in Malawi & Top Banana working in Botswana. Both charities work with adults & children who have been affected by HIV/AIDS & its far reaching consequences.

Please see the video below, where Martin Collins, Managing Director of CVS, explains why the ball isn't just another charity fundraiser.

Previously we have provided Top Banana & Temwa them with vehicles to support their activities, we have funded & physically assisted in the building of a library & a school block & have helped to initiate & develop a number of community projects. More recently we have sponsored the opening of a crèche in Botswana & the making of an HIV/AIDS awareness DVD for use in the Usisya region of Malawi.
